Bonus Day #206

We can’t know what the future holds.  It is good we don’t know.  First, it is good we don’t know what the future holds, because it makes us rely upon a power greater than ourselves.  If we could control our future, we wouldn’t need God.  Second, it is good we don’t know the future holds, because if we did, we would certainly try to control it.  We have to be reminded from time to time that there are circumstances, situations, and relationships beyond our control.  Third, it is good we don’t know what the future holds, because NOT KNOWING can help us–if we let it help us–refine our sense of hope and destiny.  Personally….I hate not knowing….but then when I look at how many–NO–most things turn out, I am better not knowing ahead of time!

Every day is a Bonus Day!

Much Love,

Marc
