“The 40 day Window of the Watchmen” was what I heard from God today…..Thursday, September 24, 2020 is 40 days from election day, November 3, 2020. I invite all of you to join me in a 40 day prayer for our nation ( and world) during this important time. Please keep this Spiritual and Biblical, not political or philosophical. There are 3 parts to this idea: 1. “40” is the Biblical concept of trial, probation, chastisement–(but NOT judgement). There are all kinds of “40’s” in the Bible. 2. “Window” in that there are so many decisions our leaders could be making, and the people voting on those leaders, that we need God NOW more than ever before. (Sorry for sounding dramatic, but I feel like it is dramatic). 3. “Watchmen” in that this idea that I believe God spoke to me is the Biblical model of the “Watchmen on the Wall/Gate.” In this case the “Watchmen” are those of you God leads to join me in a special prayer set for the “Watchmen” time frames of 9 AM; Noon; 3 PM; 6 PM. Set your prayer alarms in whatever time zone you live for those 4 times each day for 40 days and let’s lift this prayer (or your own prayer) like this: “FATHER, WE DECLARE OUR REPENTENCE OF OUR SINS; WE EXALT YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS; WE EXPRESS OUR THANKFULNESS; WE LIFT OUR NATION BEFORE….PLEASE:
FORGIVE US,
UNIFY US,
HELP US,
DIRECT US,
HUMBLE US,
HEAL US,
REVIVE US,
RENEW US….”
Again, use my prayer at 9 AM, 12 PM, 3PM, & 6PM or one of your own. I encourage you to be true “Watchmen” in this way for 40 days. Also, I want to especially impress that your prayers stay God centered and not partisan in any way. Yield to God and His Will (and Way). Please share this idea with your family and friends as you feel led. I really believe the more people who pray as “Watchmen” during this “Window” of the next 40 days, we will see God push back the clouds of darkness, discontent, disease, and disunity.
